Respect for the living, at the heart of our actions
Our commitments
Working with the living requires commitment.
With natural water. With the terroirs. With people.
“Committing to address environmental, social and governance challenges.”
Corporate Social Responsibility lies at the heart of the Ogeu Group’s priorities.
We are aware of the challenges we must face to adopt sustainable growth while preserving our environment, our talents, and our territorial roots.
Within our company, our commitments are part of a continuous improvement process.
They guide our professions, unite our teams around innovative projects, serve our customers, and respect the environment.
Structured around three main pillars, the Ogeu Group’s CSR policy aims to:
Offer healthy products to its customers.
Preserve or develop employment at its production sites.
Contribute to reducing its environmental footprint through concrete action plans.
Preserving our springs
As a committed mineral water producer, we understand that water is a precious resource that must be protected. More than a challenge, it is a responsibility that drives us every day. For decades, we have been committed to:
- protecting the springs and natural environments on which we depend,
- ensuring sustainable and respectful management of our natural water sources,
- controlling our withdrawals so they respect natural balances,
- collaborating with local stakeholders to safeguard our catchment areas and preserve ecosystems.
Our commitment goes beyond management. We aim to raise public awareness about the water cycle and resource regeneration.

The target average ratio is 1.6 L of water to produce 1 L of bottled water.
We work daily to improve this ratio so that all our facilities converge toward this objective.
Acting for responsible production
Committed to protecting the environment, we ensure responsible production by reducing our CO₂ emissions.
We have chosen to:
- power 100% of our sites and offices with green energy,
- reduce the carbon footprint related to transport, notably through short distribution channels, optimized logistics flows, and the use of clean transportation,
- invest in making our production processes more virtuous,
- incorporate more recycled plastic in our PET bottles and further develop returnable systems (including opening new production lines),
- build more sustainable and responsible partnerships with suppliers (purchasing charter, supplier code of conduct, supplier CSR assessment).
Because a fair production gesture is a gesture of respect.
Respecting and enhancing territories
Our territories are our roots.
They nourish our products, inspire our craft, and shape our culture.
The Group is committed to local communities by supporting numerous initiatives that promote the sporting, cultural, and social development of the regions.
We are committed to:
- maintaining a strong presence in our historical sites,
- contributing to local economic life through employment, partnerships, and knowledge transmission,
- supporting the cultural and natural heritage of the regions where we operate.
Beyond being a driver of territorial economies, the Group supports institutional organisations, associations, and local actors who work with at‑risk or vulnerable populations — particularly those without access to drinking water — to provide them with healthy, natural hydration.
Because a House of the living cannot exist without a profound respect for its territory.
Ogeu Group commits to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
Aware of the climate emergency, Ogeu Group is committed to defining short‑term greenhouse gas emission reduction targets that are science‑based and aligned with the framework of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
This approach marks a key milestone in our CSR strategy and reflects our determination to place climate challenges at the heart of our industrial activities and operational decisions.
Ogeu Groupe travaille actuellement à la formalisation de ses objectifs de réduction des émissions, qui seront soumis au processus de validation de la Science Based Targets initiative.
Supporting the women and men of the group
Our Group is a company built on expertise.
We are convinced that our greatest wealth lies in our people, and their well‑being is at the heart of our concerns.
We are committed to:
- providing a healthy and respectful working environment for all
- supporting training and the transmission of know‑how
- recognising and valuing each individual’s journey
- promoting a managerial culture and equal opportunities
Because a fair gesture begins with respect for those who carry it.
Recognition and commitments
Because our respect for natural resources, territories, and know‑how is expressed first and foremost through our practices,
we have never viewed certifications as an end in themselves.
But we are proud that the quality and consistency of our approach are recognised by demanding partners.
Quality at the heart of our commitment
Our Group Quality Policy is structured around 4 major pillars:
Product safety
Customer satisfaction
Continuous improvement
Development of our teams
To guarantee the highest level of quality and safety for all its products, the OGEU Group applies best‑in‑class practices in traceability and food safety.
Most of our sites meet one or several high international standards regarding product quality and food safety. The standards applied include:
Regulations governing spring and mineral waters,
The Hygiene Package.
Numerous checks are carried out across all our production lines:
Monitoring of the water resource itself,
Control of incoming raw materials,
Monitoring of manufacturing processes, from preform to finished pallet,
Control of our syrup‑making activities.
For example, around 40,000 analyses, both internal and external, are performed each year at our Ogeu‑les‑Bains production site — that is 3,300 analyses per month. These analyses measure parameters such as microbiology, physico‑chemical composition, pesticides, metal traces, and more.
These controls allow us to certify the quality, sanitary safety, and hygiene of food products as well as the conformity of production processes, while meeting market expectations.
Our production sites are IFS* certified, guaranteeing compliance with the most demanding international standards and our commitments to our customers. Each production step is rigorously controlled to ensure products that are healthy, safe, and reliable. This certification reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence, trust, and consumer safety.
We are also inspected by national authorities, including the Regional Health Agencies and the Departmental Directorates for Population Protection.
As a bottler certified IFS, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, Halal (for our Luchon site), Origine France Garantie, and PME+, we guarantee high‑quality products made through sustainable and responsible practices, in full compliance with the regulatory and normative requirements of these certifications.
*Two production sites are currently in the certification process.
The PME+ Label
In 2024, our Quézac site obtained the PME+ label. This CSR label highlights French, human‑sized companies supplying the retail sector and committed to more ethical and responsible practices.
By obtaining the PME+ label, our Quézac site commits to meeting 14 specific requirements.
The certification will be extended to all our sites:
Use of 100% green energy across all our facilities.
A sustainable management policy for natural water resources, supported by local agreements and regular audits.
We uphold these commitments in line with our history:
that of a family‑owned group, dedicated to preserving its historical sites
and committed to passing on living, thriving territories to future generations.
Because to preserve is first to act — and to do so consistently, for decades.
Ethics and compliance
We ensure that all our activities are conducted with honesty, integrity, and the highest level of professional rigor.
Our policy for preventing and detecting corruption risks is built on a “zero‑tolerance” principle toward any form of corruption.
A supplier code of conduct has likewise been established.
Our responsible purchasing charter formalizes the commitments expected by the OGEU Group regarding:
- ethics,
- anti‑corruption practices,
- respect for human rights,
- health and workplace safety standards.
Un code de conduite éthique anticorruption a également été formalisé à l’attention de nos collaborateurs dans le cadre de la loi Sapin II du 9 décembre 2016 relative à la transparence, à la lutte contre la corruption et à la modernisation de la vie économique.
