The Group

A family mineral heritage that has been written for nearly 180 years.

In a world where time is accelerating, we have chosen another path — one of attentiveness, precision, and respect.
We preserve rare resources: natural mineral and spring waters, historic sites, and patiently built know‑how. We pass on the spirit of our crafts: that of mineral water producers, of creators of beverages made from spring water, and of brewers.
We create new experiences: functional drinks made with natural mineral water, mocktails crafted from mountain spring water, cocktails, and beers with unique recipes — all driven by the commitment to honour what nature offers us.

Every skill within the Ogeu Group is nurtured by this same philosophy: serving the living with fairness and care.

And grounding our actions in respect for natural environments and for people.

Our History

The strength of a living heritage.

Under Henry IV – Ladies of the court came to enjoy the benefits of the Ogeu® spring.
1849 – Doctor Casamayor‑Dufaur acquires the spring and dedicates it to caring for local residents.
1880 – In addition to the thermal activity, official recognition of the Ogeu® spring as a natural mineral water.
Second World War – The thermal station becomes a refuge for displaced populations.
1955 – Juliette, a visionary and independent woman, creates the iconic Ogeu® lemonade, an emblematic beverage of the region.
1970 – Jacques, Juliette’s son, develops large‑scale bottling.
From the 1990s/2010s onwards – Acquisition of regional natural mineral and spring water sources (Quézac®, Plancoët®, Sainte Baume®, Lutecia®…), preserving jobs and know‑how. Ongoing dialogue with local authorities.
From the 2010s/2020s onwards – Building on its heritage, the group broadens its universe to meet contemporary tastes and expectations.
It develops new product ranges:

  • Regional beers – Sarriat® for the Pyrenees, Hapchot® for the West Coast, Belharra® for the Basque Country,
  • Premium mixers Kaskad® for mixology,
  • Non‑alcoholic cocktails Cubacabana®,
  • Functional beverages supporting immunity (DrFeelgood®) and energy & wellbeing (Lutecia®).

These creations extend the original spirit of the house: innovating without ever denying its roots.
Today, the Ogeu Group is a family‑owned company that continues to grow, true to its origins.

A family-owned group offering services and solutions

The current generation has not only focused on diversifying products:
it has also developed a range of services to promote French mineral‑water expertise and strengthen the independence of professionals.

Ogeu International – to help showcase the quality of French mineral and spring water around the world.
Ogeu Diffusion – to offer professionals an independent, ethical and demanding alternative.
Ogeu Solution – to support other brands, both large and small, by providing them with our technical expertise and production lines.

These activities reflect a dynamic, open and unifying group, serving the vitality of the sector.

Today and tomorrow

More than 175 years after its acquisition by Doctor Casamayor‑Dufaur, our group remains family‑owned, independent, and deeply committed.

Each project, each bottle, each partnership reflects our responsibility toward the resource, our passion for human and technical know‑how, and our love for the regions that sustain us.

Our history is not fixed: it is a living heritage, continuing to be written day after day, with the same high standards and humility that guided Doctor Casamayor‑Dufaur in 1849.
